Tudor Replica Necklace Catherine Parr Historical Reproduction Brass Filigree with Red and Black Glass

Want to accessorize like a Tudor Queen? Than this Historical Reproduction of a Necklace worn by Catherine Parr, Henry VIII's last queen, may be just what you are looking for. Created using raw brass filigree connected to one another with hand wired Glass pearls. Each round filigree set with either a red or black square glass jewel which itself has been set in a gold toned setting. The center piece is a large filigree to which a red glass jewel had been hand wired wrapped. Above this ruby red glass jewel is another black square glass jewel. All filigrees used to make this necklace are brass and have been cleaned and polished with Renaissance Wax to protect the filigrees.

Queen Catherine Parr is known by the majority of people as the "lucky" wife of King Henry VIII of Renaissance/Medieval England, the one who survived to become his widow. However, to those who study Tudor history, was she so much more. Intelligent, witty, religious, and able to play the game that was life at the Tudor court. This necklace is a historical replica of one worn by Queen Catherine Parr in one of the few portraits that scholars are fairly certain is in fact Catherine.

Buyer must contact me within 14 days of delivery and ship items back within 30 days of delivery. Custom items cannot be returned.
