This is a handmade Queen Catherine Parr Tudor Historical Reproduction Necklace. It would also look lovely with any Medieval, Renaissance, or Faire attire. This necklace was made using raw brass, gold toned filigrees. All filigrees are treated with Renaissance wax to help prevent oxidation. Each of the oval filigrees is beset with either a 10x14mm oval red glass stones or an 11mm round black glass stone. All stones are set in a gold toned setting. From each of the smaller filigrees dangles a cream colored glass teardrop pearl. The center piece is a large filigree to which a red glass jewel, set in a gold plated filigree setting, has been hand wired wrapped. Above this ruby red glass jewel is another round black glass jewel. From this center piece hangs another cream colored glass pearl.

The necklace measures 18 inches (45.7 cm), is finished with a lobster claw clasp and an extender chain.

***This necklace will be made just for you, Please allow 1-2 weeks to ship***

Queen Catherine Parr is known by the majority of people as the "lucky" wife of King Henry VIII of Renaissance/Medieval England, the one who survived to become his widow. However, to those who study Tudor history, was she so much more. Intelligent, witty, religious, and able to play the game that was life at the Tudor court. This necklace is a historical replica of one worn by Queen Catherine Parr in one of the few portraits that scholars are fairly certain is in fact Catherine.
