You are a Queen, accessorize like one!! This tiara/headband/crown is a replica of one worn by Catherine Parr as portrayed by Joely Richardson on "The Tudors" see last picture.
Made using a gold toned headband on which I have hand wired 9 gold toned filigrees using non tarnish gold toned copper wire. Also hand wired on the headband, setting in front of the filigrees, are 8mm and 6mm glass pearls. Atop each of the filigrees are beautiful black Swarovski crystals. All wire ends have been covered with epoxy to ensure that it doesn't loosen over time.
Though the materials used in this piece are generally non-tarnish, to ensure minimal oxidation (or tarnishing)over time this crown should be placed in an air tight bag out of direct sunlight when not in use.
